This is the home page of Waid Academy former pupils Rugby Football Club. Waid Rugby Club is based in the village of Anstruther,Fife. Where we play our home games in the Scottish Hydro Electric Caledonia League Division 1.

7th April 2007 Waid Academy FP RFC 19 - 5 Strathspey Waid racked up another win on Saturday against Strathspey. Saturday's fixture saw Waid playing for pride as, ultimately, the result didn't affect their second placed league position. more.. Waid win against Montrose On Saturday, Waid recorded another victory in their penultimate league game of the season, with a resounding win over Montrose. However, they paid a price for having to play more.. News v Fife Southern Waid continued their winning ways with a comfortable victory, on their home turf, against Fife Southern on Saturday. Although the windy conditions threatened to cause havoc with the game, the East Neuk side coped well, opening the scoring after just 10 minutes. more... |
Waid FP v Bannockburn Waid began 2007 and returned to league action, following a lengthy rest, with a tough away fixture against Bannockburn. Living up to their infamous surroundings, the home team made sure that the East Neuk side had a battle on their hands. more.. |
16/12/06 Game Off Waid Academy's 1st XV fixture against Strathspey at Anstruther on Saturday 16th December 2006 has been called off. The visitors were unable to raise a full team and the game will now be re-scheduled for later in the season. |
Waid progress in Cup Saturday 9th December 2006 saw Waid FPs take on their Stirlingshire league rivals, Bannockburn, in the first round of the National Plate competition. Waid should have gone into the game as clear favourites, after hitting a run of good league form winning their last three league games. Bannockburn, on the other hand, had lost their previous three league games and currently sit near the bottom of the league.more..more.. |

| Dissapointing Saturday Waid Academy FP 1st XV were once again left kicking their heels on Saturday afternoon. At 1pm, Stobswell informed Waid officials that they wouldn't be attending and fulfilling the Caledonia Division 2 Midlands League fixture. The reason given was that they couldn't raise a team. This was a massive disappointment to players, coaches, catering staff, sponsors, referee and the many supporters who had attended the pre-match lunch. more.. | Waid beat League Leaders Waid Academy FP RFC welcomed League winners Montrose RFC to Waid Park for the final league game of the BT National League Division 5 (Caledonia B). Waid continued their recent run of good form with an impressive 65-19 victory at Montrose on Saturday.
